Our Story

Elavína Salon and Spa was created from a love of beauty, history, and a desire to build something meaningful and lasting.

In 2011 when I opened the salon in the Carriage House of the historic Frank Pierce Carpenter House, I took inspiration directly from the history of the property. As I learned more about its past, two names stood out to me, Mr. Carpenter's wife, Elenora, and her mother, Lavinia. By blending those names together, Elavína was born.

The salon is located in a building that formerly held the Red Cross, but is now reimagined into a space with character, warmth, and a sense of permanence.

Elavína reflects that original intention, thoughtful, refined, and built to last.
